ALCOHOL & DRUG POLICY

Drivers who consume alcohol, or are under the influence of illegal substances, prior to or during the event, will be permanently excluded from all events organised by RetroRace Ltd

We will not refund or waive any fees paid or owing in the event that we disqualify a driver for the above reasons.


VERBAL, PHYSICAL & ONLINE ABUSE POLICY

Any form of abuse towards officials, drivers or other visitors to event whether in person or online will result in a ban or suspension from RetroRace Ltd events

Any person who threatens or assaults any member of RetroRace Ltd’s staff or any other customers will be reported to the Police.

Any person who damages any of RetroRace Ltd’s or our customers’ or venue’s property through inappropriate behaviour will be held liable for the full cost of repair or replacement of the damaged property.

AGE POLICY

The minimum age for any driver to compete is 12 years old

Drivers may compete in the Junior category until the end of the year of their 16th birthday provided that birthday falls after the start of the championship.

Drivers may compete in Senior categories in the year of their 16th birthday but may not return to Junior racing once they have competed in a Senior category

Proof of age will be required if there is any doubt. All drivers aged 15 or under must be signed in by their parent or another adult. If you wish to bring someone else’s child to compete at RetroRace Ltd events, you must act “in loco parentis” and make any and all decisions as to the suitability of the activity for the child.


PRIVACY POLICY

Collection of Personal Details

RetroRace Ltd is the data controller of the information collected at our events and via our online channels.

Data Collection

1) Drivers Taking Part in Events: By racing at our events, you agree to your name appearing on all representations of laptimes and leaderboards. We also collect the data of all drivers to ensure that we have a definitive record of who has read and completed our risk awareness declaration prior to being allowed to drive on the circuits or take part in our events. We do not use this data for any purpose other than maintaining a record of the drivers taking part in events – unless you specifically opt in to receiving sales and marketing messages from us.

2) Customers Enquiring about or booking events: We also collect information from our customers via our Sales Office and Receptions when you enquire about events or book activities with us. We will use the information you give us to correspond with you about your enquiry or booking. We do not use this data for any purpose other than maintaining a record of the drivers taking part in events – unless you specifically opt in to receiving sales and marketing messages from us.

3) Online Booking: We require contact details on our order form and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date) on the payment processing form. This information is used for billing purposes and to fulfill your order. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to get in touch with you.

4) Logging Access to our Web Site

Storage and Review of Data

All data collected above is kept securely in accordance with GDPR and is reviewed periodically (and at least annually) to ensure that we still need any data for the purposes outlined above. Any data no longer required will be deleted.

Use of Data

Data on participants in our activities is retained by us to provide us and our insurers an accurate record of the participation – such as drivers details, date and time and nature of the activity.

Those customers who have consented to receiving promotional messages will always be given the opportunity to opt out or unsubscribe from the receipt of promotional messages. This opportunity will always be clearly available on all such communications.

Review of Data

Personal data collected on you will be evaluated periodically (not less than yearly) to determine whether we should continue to hold it.

No third parties will have access to any data


ENTRY CONDITIONS

Completing the entry form constitutes a contract between you & RetroRace Ltd.

You need to pay the non-refundable and non-transferable fee as it becomes due.

Postponement Condition – Due to Corona Virus if your event is paid in full and you provide 48hrs notice in writing, you may postpone your event and reschedule to a new date within 12 months of the original event date, without penalty.

Drivers who consume alcohol, or are under the influence of illegal substances, prior to the event, or miss the safety briefing will not be permitted to race or practice.

RetroRace Ltd does not accept payment by cheque.

Suitable approved clothing and helmets must be worn by competitors on track at all times.

All Bookings will be subject to the following terms and conditions.

Full payment is required at the time of booking to guarantee spaces.

Bookings are non-refundable.

Bookings are non-transferrable unless a government imposed lockdown postpones an event in which case RetroRace Ltd will transfer the date or credit.

Individuals that arrive too late to attend the Driver's Briefing or statutory practice will not be permitted to participate. No refund or transfer will be given under these circumstances.

Any person who damages any of RetroRace Ltd’s or our customers’ or our venues’ property through inappropriate behaviour will be held liable for the full cost of repair or replacement of the damaged property.Further penalties or exclusion may apply

RetroRace Ltd reserves the right to request proof of ID.

RetroRace Ltd reserves the right to request proof of a driver's Kart racing experience.

RetroRace Ltd reserves the right to refuse admission or to cease providing racing to any person.

If an event is cancelled due to reasons outside RetroRace Ltd’s control FULL RACE FEES will be payable. Whilst RetroRace Ltd cannot be held responsible for such cancellations, we will endeavour to re-arrange the event on a mutually convenient date.
